To our West Covina Youth PONY Baseball Family,

Please view COVIA-19 San Gabriel Valley Community Resources link from Assemblywoman Blanca E. Rubio.

Stay safe!  Hope to see you all back on the fields soon!!

As we are all aware, Corona Virus has been dominating the news. There are things that each of us can do to minimize the risk of exposure and help to prevent its spread. Although the risk of infection is currently low in the United States, we assume things will get worse before a cure and treatment are developed. In the meantime, here are what the experts are saying we all should do to lower our risk of exposure.

Practice good hygiene by washing hands with soap and water frequently

Use alcohol-based sanitzer when soap and water are not available

Use disposable tissues when coughing/sneezing and dispose of them properly. If tissues are not available, direct your cough/sneeze in the crook of your arm/sleeve

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

Avoid close contact with anyone who has cold or flu-like symptoms

If your player or you are feeling ill or under the weather, especially if you have a fever, we encourage you to stay home to recover and seek appropriate medical care

With then combination of good hygiene and common sense, we can all do our part to stay health and avoid the spread of ANY illness

Thank you,

Kelly Mardorf, President
